On Thursday 19th of October, we will have autumn activities at Stundars, between 10 and 14 o’clock. There will be varied program for the whole family, mostly outside.
As the theme is on autumn activities, you will get a chance to learn about how winter storage was prepared for. In the Smith’s Cottage you can try your hand at traditional rug-making.
There will be an opportunity to learn about overwintering of animals, who just like people need to prepare well for the increasingly cold weather. There will also be a small exhibit on different types of wood, and the way each has been used in the old agrarian society.
Stundars’ guest-artist Margot Araujo will have an open studio in the Groos building.
Our play areas at the museum village will be open and there will be different play stations to try outside.
We will also have a barbeque spot, where you can grill your own food if you wish.
