The farmhand August wishes to propose to the housemaid Lina, but he lacks the money needed for courtship-gifts. But the rich farmer does have the money, and he also wishes to get married to Lina. Now the farmer is on his way to Vaasa, to buy gifts and the coffee needed for the engagement party. August must hurry and use his wits to find gifts of his own, before the farmer returns.
Who will get to propose first? August? Or the farmer?
”Coffeetime!” is a fun and challenging team-building package, where you can solve various tasks and challenges together. The story takes place in the Ostrobothnian countryside near the turn of the 20th century. Together with the Narrator you can help August find the courtship-gifts he needs. Besides gifts, coffee is also very important for the engagement party. Luckily, there is a huge amount of coffee smuggled from Sweden here to Ostrobothnia, and supposedly the smugglers have hiding-places in the village. Some of the villagers might be willing to help you out, trading one favour for another.
