Artisans´ Day 2026

On Saturday 18th of July, the Artisans’ Day will take place at Stundars.

The daily guided programming will be on hold for the day. Instead, there will be many artisans demonstrating traditional crafts in the museum, between 11AM and 3PM.

Drop in workshop in quilting – craft of the year!
Painter Ulrika Åkesdotter (Sweden) is demonstrating stencil painting in the Animal Barn 11 am-2 pm.

The art exhibits in the Hemmer House, Stonemason’s Cottage, and in the Animal Barn will be open as usual.

Locally made soup and home-made pastries are sold. Lyckans Café will be open.

The Artisans’ Day programme is included in the regular admission to the museum village. Admission fees are 10€ for adults, 8€ for students and pensioners, 5€ for children (2-17 years), 0–1-year-old children get in for free. Stundars is a Finnish Museum Card target.
