The ongoing rain is turning the fields and gravel roads into muck. So, we recommend that all visitors dress according to the weather. The parking facilities at Stundars are also subject to the weather. For those arriving by car to the Christmas Market on November 30th there is a parking fee of 3€, either with cash or through MobilePay. Once here, we ask that everybody follows the instructions of our parking custodians, to ensure smooth transition. There are a few parking areas near the market, to make things easier. This way everybody can avoid parking along the road, as rescue vehicles must be able to travel through Solf without issue. The parish parking lot will be available after 11:30, but before that it is exclusive for those attending Sunday’s church service. As an alternative, there will also be bus traffic arranged from Vaasa to Solf, and back.
As an alternative to driving to the Christmas Market 30.11, there is a 2€ bus ride from Vaasa City Hall to Stundars at 10, 10:30, 11, 11:30, 12 and 12:30. The returning bus to Vaasa from Sulva goes at 11, 11:30, 12, 12:30, 13 and 13:30 o´clock, at the stop on Sulvantie 213. In collaboration: VisitVaasa and Stundars.
